Pamper Me Mondays

This is My blog but it has been a while since I actually shared My thoughts and Goddess wisdom with the world. Here you go.

I have it set on My calendar to remind Me not to schedule anything on this day. I'm sure some of you have seen the tweets.

Do you want to know what I do on "Pamper Me Mondays?" Its just a few simple things.


1. Wake up naturally.

Since I don't have anything planned, there's no need to set an alarm. Whether it be a blaring siren, birds tweeting or the radio. I let My body wake up when its ready.

2. Take time to stretch.

Back in school, we rarely needed to do this. Then, I used to do it as a habit and because it felt good. Lately, it seems I jump up out of bed, use the bathroom and start working on something. Not on #PamperMeMondays. I take at least 10 minutes to stretch multiple parts of My body.

3. Drink plenty of water. 🍶

I know you've heard drink water, drink water, drink water, but it's a must. Our bodies are made up of over 60% water. Our body functions properly when it has enough water. Skin also looks better when ita well hydrated. I try to get 8, 8oz of water. Just water. Sometimes flavored with strawberry, cucumbers, lemon or limes but I drink as much as I can.

4. Pamper My hair.

I wash it, condition it, sometimes I deep condition it with a mask. Then, I oil the shit out of it. It takes about 3 hours, but it has to get done.

5. Pamper My face.

Sometimes, I exfoliate but I need to this more often. I try to spot treat blemishes, but I usually just put peroxide or which hazel over My full face. Then, I moisturize. I still have a few commercial products left. When they're finished, it'll be all natural products from Whole Foods or Mom's Organic stores.

6. Pamper My teeth.

While I should do this daily, I like most of you, don't. I don't floss as often as I should. After brushing teeth and tongue, I floss, then I rinse.

7. Pamper My hands & feet.

If I haven't had a professional mani/pedi in the past week, then I'll soak My hands & feet, rub off old polish, and scrub off dead skin cells.  As usual, when the boys don't come through, I have to take care of it Myself.

8. Eat more healthy foods.

While I do this as often as I can, on Mondays, I make sure I do not eat any type of fast food and even less processed food. I don't eat anything loaded with sugar and extra salt. I eat real food like oatmeal or eggs 🍳on whole grain toast, avocado, salad, sweet potatoes🍠, fish🐟, brown rice🍚 and more vegetables and fruit.

I also take time out to relax by watching a favorite show, playing a game on the computer or reading up on something. I take it easy after a hectic and stressful week.

My advice: Take time out for yourself. Stress is as dangerous as smoking or cancer.
